I’m not sure if I’ll stay here again.
The property is beautifully appointed in an immaculately maintained environment!
I thought the concierge staff were lazing and reluctant to help with luggage up the stairs. The dinner at the Palmer dinning lounge was a 3 out of 10 both from a service and food quality. Our dinner took 45 minutes to arrive and the side of fries arrived 15 minutes earlier than the food?

What was the highlight of Glenlo Abbey Hotel
Peaceful, elegant and first class service.
Palmers? restaurant was probably the best meal we had in our two week trip. I had the sea bass and it was amazing. I was happier with that meal than the one in the Pullman restaurant to be honest. We sat in the lounge by the front desk and looked out on the golf course. It was so peaceful, the bar tender was attentive and we loved just sitting there.
One of the staff sent us to the third floor when we were looking for breakfast. When we were leaving and struggling with our bags, we were looking for a way out to avoid stairs. After going by the same girl twice and stating we what we were doing, she offered no help and never acknowledged us. It was aggravating because we were obviously struggling with our bags. The front desk staff though, A+!

Great stay as always!
We love Glenlo and have stayed here on several occasions. Always a warm welcome, cozy, comfortable bedrooms. Gorgeous food and drink especially the breakfast! Definitely recommend.
